Think you got it bad...

I could not get my computer to work right last night when you popped up on Facebook. I have had a week of computer issues, home and work. Hope you guys are doing good. Sorry that I haven't emailed in a while. School is getting harder and harder plus everything else that is going on. I have 11 more classes and I will be through. It still going to be around this time next year before I graduate. I am so ready! You were asking about Stephen, he is doing ok. It is just a roller coaster, one minute he is doing good the next minute he is doing bad. I am not sure what I told you the last time but you knew the cancer was back after his bone marrow and it is in his brain behind his eye. He has a tumor about the size of a walnut there and just finished radiation last week so I am hoping to say that he HAD a tumor. He does a MRI tomorrow to see where he stands. They had him on so many steriods that he gained over 80 lbs in 2 months. He had so much fluid that it was seeping out of his skin. If he stood in one place too long, there would be a puddle of water around his feet. Poor baby he was just miserable. They finally started backing him off the steriods and gave him lasiks and last week when he went to the doctor he had lost 40 lbs in one week. Amazing! They came over swimming last Saturday and we were hoping the pool would make him feel better just getting in there and floating around. It seemed that he had more energy the days after that so we hope the pool had something to do with that. Keep praying for him. He is a trooper and now my new hero. No one should have to go through the torment that kid has had to endure over the last 9 months. Anyway, love you guys, tell Bob hello and we need to get together soon. I miss ya! Love, Jannette |
