once rob puts a 315 radial on this thing and sorts it out, no reason this thing shouldnt run 5.90s if the rods and crank can handle it.

to be clear I DO NOT have a Steve Johnson plate. The plate is an OLD NOS Pro 2 Stage with 1 set of leaking bars so I run 1 stage, plus the engine is not set up for a lot of juice. Only on the last hit was I on Steve's tune and it didnt go down the track straight or hook up.

I can say big thanks to Steve for helping me out and getting some issues cleared up for me that's for sure.

I have 295 radials, no need for the 315. It's getting close, it may run a 5 when it's all said and done, I am sure it will run 6.0's on a clean pass with good air.

is there really a difference b/w 295 and 315 radials? both are huge and capable of more than anyone here can throw at it (or just about)

btw - rob - i was under the impression you had one of SJ's monster plates.

All I did was pull the hood off, not real motivated at the moment, racing in this heat kills me.

Yes the 315's are heavier, I look forward to trying the radials.

I am sure I will get one eventually. People assume a lot of things that arent true.
