I wanted to re race Mofo at the same boost as last time. The car was not running right when we raced a few weeks ago. The car has the stock lower and a 3inch upper witch should make 17lbs, but it only make 15lbs

Well it is probably making 17lbs and your gauge is reading wrong. If your pulley combo is said to make X lbs it's usually pretty damn close, unless there is belt slip or something wrong with the car.

Well it is probably making 17lbs and your gauge is reading wrong. If your pulley combo is said to make X lbs it's usually pretty damn close, unless there is belt slip or something wrong with the car.

His boost gauge is not the only thing that read 15.....

The more efficient a motor is, the less boost it will make on X lb pulley....these things they call superchargers work a little different then a wastegate.

That being said, he might lose boost technically, but power will be higher on his 15 then if another Cobra runs 17 on a 17.
