Thats what i'm talkin about an eye for an eye, If one car goes to fast an is penalized then the next guy should be penalized also...
Let me finish and say nobody should be penalized for going to fast, Howard just done his job with the rules he was delt, I hope we can fix this before everyone stops racing in real street!!
i agree i hope someone changes these rules 1 last time so everyone can race. But i think ego will prevent common sense from being used. Lets hope i am wrong! otherwise we will see alot of cars breaking out of the 5.30- bracket we all know exists
BTW no crying here i am buiding one just like it with a blower.

I know this sounds dumb but would any of you guys be able to tell me the big differance between the 15* heads and the 23* heads? What is the big power gain or any gain from one head to the other?
Ryan

Thanks it helps a little bit. I was wondering what the power difference is that. I am just starting to learn about this stuff. Like why would one be better than the other. Like does one degree allow you to run a bigger cam or does it flow better and why? Thanks in advance
23* vs 15* is the differance in valve angle in relation to the deck surface of the head. A shalower angle like a 15* will have a smaller chamber for les valve shrouding and can use less dome on the piston achieve a batter burn in the chamber. also have better flow charactoristics with raised runner ect..

"..a true hotrodder would'nt be content untill he had created a car so violent, so totally sick that the act of dropping the hammer would result in instant death. Anything less results in the need to go faster. " Tony DeFeo

Bobby, why dont you start racin your car and not your mouth.
But you can angle cut a 23 degree SBC head into the 20/21 degree range and end up with 12.5 plus with the longer stroke and bigger cube SBC's.
Those Aussie Iron SBC heads can flow some big numbers.
Then add the unlimited jet.........![]()
