New 275 class

Fresh off the bullet: I-22 is considering adding a 275 class to the 2010 schedule. We have had several calls and are looking for input from racers.

Rules for the proposed clas

275 or 28 x 10
Stock suspension
3200 lbs
Bring it

We are looking at doing this class once a month in between our normal heads up race. It would be a Saturday race. Looking at $75 entry fee and $1200- 1500 to win. We would need 16 cars.

Why cant we have real races like this? are all the real men up north or what???

We already do!!! Its called DRAG RADIAL.... and guess what? They even allow an option for a bigger tire for you take advantage of.

No need to move up to Drag Radial, I just got off the phone with Steve from SHRA and they plan on having 4 races this year, now add in another 5 races that ortc/uors plans on running and that is 9 races total...all races will be using ortc/uors rules, Big Payouts!!

I saw your 60ft time you need the bigger tire not me. And it is easier for 3 cars to step down a class than 3 of the fast cars to step up to radial. It cost you nothing to slow down cos tthousands to step up. We will see the car counts for both soon and i will be right count on it.

well just to let you know me and tommy were at that meeting last night and spoke with steve and mike . there are no rules set for shra at this present time for real street . they want to wait until AFTER the feb. race to try and decide what would work best for this class for thier program. the one thing i can tell you is that they are tired of hearing all of this BULLSHIT. so everybody get back to work on your junk and wait until after the race and see what THEY decide on for rules.

Well 3 of us talked to Steve today and he said ORTC rules for all the Big events and they havent decided on the smaller races. MY old car runs and the new 25.3 car is almost ready for paint dont worry i will be ready. I would post pics but dont know how???
