    Things to be addressed 2010

    1. Address present issues that people have with the jet rules
    2. Building the multi track series
    3. Clarify boosted rules
    4. Look for tech official with rules knowledge and knowledge of engines/cylinder heads/blowers/turbos/nitrous systems
    5. Grow the class - no mid year or any other time rule revisions
    6. ?

Is this a pretty accurate list?

Steve, the other thread got closed but I would like to say that I don't want the rules changed at all. I think they are what they are and I hope a blower car or turbo car starts winning to prove it can be done. I don't race with you guys but I have always thought a BFG would equal things out. It's nothing more than an opinion. I hope the best for all of you guys and yes you will see me next weekend only because we are testing for Chicago. Someone will have me as their first round duck.

    I second that

On another note. The BFG will benefit us your right Steve. It will benefit you also, and every other car that can't run better then 5.50

To answer the question of why we don't run the BFG with a 100lbs weight break is ...we have. We have ran the Hoosier also and didn't pick up in the 60' at all. Sometimes removing weight is harder then adding. We ran a 5.49 200lbs over weight.

Don't change anything, I really don't care. We are not crying about the rules. Keep them the way they are. I was just agreeing with Troy Jr.

As far as having to have a pedal fest because of a BFG tire your wrong there also. BFG Drag Radial has been around for many years and have gone as fast as 8.0's in the 1/4. If you blow the tires off with the BFG you need to get to work and make a educated guess on how much power the track will hold that day. But then again who spins the tires with a Hooser. That why everyone likes them so much. If you can't get your car to work use the Hoosier. The Hoosier should get a 200lbs weight penalty. Don't give the BFG 100lbs weight break from 3000lbs. What a Joke!!!!!
We will be there on the 11th with the BFG at 200lbs over weight. I hope everyone else with there 2 cents is there also. Maybe we will break the 8 car field max we have had in the past and someone will run 5.20's

    Sorry for the hijack people

I would like to check out some video of the 8.0s on a 275 BFG, post up a link so we can all check it out? Hopefully the lines between the NMRA BFG Drag Radial Class and these comments are not intertwined considering the 275BFG versus a 325BFG is a different animal. It’s really not rocket science with a boost/progressive controller, 7531 box and +400lbs. stacked on the tire…
