What is the cu.in. limit on what is considered a Small Block? Or is there any?

I dont think you can get much over 600 inches with conventional heads.

Just wondering.
A 400 block based on the SB 350 block design stroked to 450 plus can run at 3100 lbs. And lighter to begin with. Better front to back percentages. Quote:

Sounds about right. I thought it was around 615 for chuby.. I mean chevy.
