What is the cu.in. limit on what is considered a Small Block? Or is there any?
Most organizations have limits.
Nobody to P&G...no cubic inch limit.

yeah a 707 juice 3350 lbs . i see where a small block with Yates heads has an advantage
I dont think you can get much over 600 inches with conventional heads.

Just wondering.
A 400 block based on the SB 350 block design stroked to 450 plus can run at 3100 lbs. And lighter to begin with. Better front to back percentages.
You can. Using a Dart Iron Eagle block with a raised cam and deck height build a 450ci small-block by combining a 4.165-inch bore with a 4.125-inch stroke. A normal 350ci Chevy is 4.00x3.48.
But a 427 BBC based on the 396 design has to run at 3400 lbs.
Posting fodder. LOL.
The BB is the way to go if starting from scratch, if this is the only racing you are doing.
