none of you guys race 1/4 anyway, why does Real Street allow them is my question, since "they serve no purpose in the 1/8 mile format" ?

All you guys can have a street car like the wagon one day. The last time I checked they sell decklids everyday. Just bolt another one on for that race. Rick Losee is doing the conversions to his car to come and race. The first race is set up to run like Modified street and the second one we will run with the forced induction rules of the Florida Real Street class.
I have been in communication will Neil, Micah, and Bruce about all of your concerns. They said that the wings are not stock appearing. He does'nt care that it is not a performance enhancement, he is going for the looks. The payouts are great $2000 to win , $1000 for runner up and so on. Who pays that? I would be willing to buy a second deck lid but there are other "interior" related items that come into play as well (stock dash, steering column, door skins, etc...) Our interior is race oriented but has stock appearance and looks good, can that be reviewed or you can look it over @ PBIR and make a judgment call. Also, what about bead locks?
