Some miscommunication with Saturday hours, lets clear it up!

Ok there seems to be a little bit of miscommunications with Saturday hours and what not so lets clear everything up. I have missed some customers 2 Saturday's in a row now....2 nitrous refills and 1 looking to get some work done.

First off I have NO problems what so ever coming down on a Saturday to either fill a bottle or work. I understand Saturdays are usully the only day some customers can get down here. We understand that and are more than willing to accomadate for that.

But we need a heads up, weather it be a phone call on Friday or even on a Saturday. You have to let me know. In this slow economy we have to pinch every penny to survive. It costs money to sit down here and run the lights, air compressor, A/C, fans, etc. just to sit around for 8 hours and only fill maybe one nitrous bottle. Its not cost effective what so ever for me.

My cell phone number is in my sig and always has been, just give me a call and a heads up. And we will arange a meeting time and I will be here.

And please leave a message, I get all kind of phone calls day in and day out yet for some reason NO one ever leaves messages is my message too long?

Again I am ready and willing to accomadate on Saturdays but you have to communicate with me.

Ok while we are at it lets clear the air on this dyno setup too

I have three options we are between.

1: dig hole and install in ground
2: use 4 post lift
3: find new shop

Its boiling down to we dont trust our landlord what so ever.

Before we bought the dyno we naturally checked with him. He gaves us the ok go for it. Well we get the dyno then he comes to us and starts sayin...."well this thing is gonna be pretty loud, you can only use it after 4 pm after my secratary goes home for the day" Well right there raises a red flag to us.

It bothers us to dig and expensive ass hole in the ground then have my landlord tell us when we can or can not use it. Or even try to jack our rent, or kick us out.

We have been trying to draw up a solid lease with him locking us into a monthly payment that wont change for xxx amount of time. But he is reluctant to sign it. Makes me worried. I think he knows if we put it in ground we are stuck being it s pretty big job to do this. I think he knows he would have us by the balls if this happened.

Using the 4 post lift will kill my shop space.

Kinda sucks he ok'd this, we went and bought it, now is story has changed once we have it. Needless to say we have been looking at other locations.

Would you dig a hole that costs xxxx amount of money if you dont trust your landlord? Something just seems shady with the landlord. I cant figure out why he wont sing a lease that locks us into a specific amount monthly for a said amount of time. We have been month to month for 3 years and he has only rasied rent once and it was only 50.00 bucks....I am ok with that. I just have a feeling he is just waiting untill he has us by the balls, install dyno in ground.....up goes rent cause then we are now stuck and he knows that. I dont want to install this in ground then him come and say ok rent is being increased 50% a month now. I would go crazy. And he would have the right to do so unless we get this all signed and in writing.

I get him to sign a locked and solid lease, dyno install construction would start tomorrow.

You have always been accomodating to me on Saturdays, responsive to my calls and PM's and never missed an appointment with me.

Just my experience with this - Dave has said be there at X time, and he's there.

Honestly, anytime that I have had problems, I have called Dave and he has always helped out. If no answer, always leave a voicemail. If it's important enough for you to call, then leave one and he will respond. I gave him a few days notice that I would be out of town and had to have my car fixed. Dave spent many hours and fixed it up to better than before. He will always have my business!

sucks about the dyno issue. maybe it is time to tell the landlord he needs to do a contract or you are going to look elsewhere.

I have a place that I have had my eye on for a long time but the owner is stuck up and wont come off the price. Even the realator told me the building isnt worth what he is asking. In this economy there is no way he will ever get what he wants. I told the realator here is my number, if he ever comes down to what the property is worth call me and we will talk. Been a year now, building is still for sale, still no phone call
